Creative Juices: Silent Night by Priscilla Ahn

Because I've been listening to Christmas music for about three weeks now, I figured it's only appropriate to share one of those songs with you all. :) My absolute favorite Christmas album is The Hotel Cafe presents Winter Songs. It includes tons of my favorite female artists doing original and covered Christmas songs. I shared this one with you last year. Today it's Silent Night by Priscilla Ahn. This girl is sooo good (so good I've already shared some of her stuff!). Her voice is crystal clear and so sweet. I absolutely love this rendition of one of my favorite Christmas songs. If you haven't downloaded the entire album, do it now! Colbie Caillat, Lenka, KT Tunstall and Brandi Carlile also make the list.

Creative Juices: Fall Fall by Samantha Ray

Happy Thursday, all! I planned on doing a wedding post today, but Valerie and Alex's wedding had soooo many great details that I have more pictures to edit than normal. It will be up tomorrow instead. :) I'm a little late on my Creative Juices anyways, so I figured why not change it up? This is my idea of living on the wild side. For real. You probably haven't heard of Samantha Ray yet because she's really new. I follow Nancy Ray, who is an amazing photographer in North Carolina, and Samantha Ray is her new sister-in-law ... and that's the only reason I know her music! Her new EP Royalty just came out on iTunes and as soon as I listened to it, I identified with her style. And her voice is so pretty! I have her stuff on repeat while I edit.

Here's a preview of Fall Fall (my favorite song) from her website. After you watch it, head to iTunes to get the entire thing!

Creative Juices: I Wanna Dance with Somebody by Ben Rector

It's not easy to do a Whitney Houston cover ... right? I'm pretty sure we've established that via American Idol, The X Factor or one of the 48 other singing shows on TV right now. But Ben Rector? He does her justice. Maybe it's because he has such a different style than Whitney. I love the singer-songwriter vibe he brings to the song. Check it out:
