Creative Juices: Road Trip Playlist

Hey y'all! I feel like that greeting is appropriate because as you're reading this, I'm on my way to Lexington, Va., to shoot my first southern wedding! :) I'm sooooooooooo excited. Like, really excited. Because I'm currently road tripping, and road trips require lots of good music, I thought the only appropriate thing would be to give you not one but six Creative Juices songs today! Creative Juices: Next to Me by Emeli Sande

When I first heard this song on the radio, I couldn't figure out who the heck was singing (I totally thought it was Alicia Keys!). Then I saw Emeli on the Ellen Show and I was blown away. She is so good and the song has such meaning. I'm not sure exactly what she intended with the lyrics, but I like to think that's it's spiritual. I blast this when I need a little pick-me-up. Happy Monday! :)

Creative Juices: Perfect Day by Holley Maher

I have a lovely little song for you all today. Holley Maher is so talented. After you listen to "Perfect Day" you should check out "Always Be," my absolute favorite. Her voice is so sweet and pure, and I love that in the video below you get to see all the instruments putting this song together. Music making is so beautiful.

Creative Juices: Feel Again by OneRepublic

Ohhh, OneRepublic. I think I like every, single song they make. You know how I felt about Good Life (that song totally reminds me of our wedding because we walked into our reception to it!), and this one is just as good. It's such a feel-good song, which is refreshing amidst some of the stuff on the radio. (Do I sound like a crotchety, old woman?! Haha!)
