It was a BEAUTIFUL night to spend on the beach. Cleveland really does have some of the most gorgeous scenery, and that includes Lake Erie. I was so glad Sarah and Anthony picked Huntington Beach for their session because it's one of my favorite places to shoot!
These two knew right away that they were going to be together forever. After a chance meeting at a car dealership ... here they are, ready to get married! I just love stories like theirs. One moment could have changed everything, but obviously Sarah and Anthony are meant to be.
Downtown Cleveland is so underrated. I love the energy happening downtown these days, the vibrant restaurants, the architecture. I mean, come on, that shot up there doesn't look like your typical Cleveland, right? Well, it is. It's Cleveland, and I love it.
I'm always excited when a couple suggests the city for an engagement session and Melissa and Derek were committed to it. We traveled all around to get some of their favorite spots, and they were such sports the whole time. Enjoy my favorites of this lovely couple!
Love that Tower City shot ...
We seriously had the most beautiful day for this shoot!

This is one of my all-time favorite engagement sessions! Not kidding. Between Anna and Clede's energy, the beach, the light, and the perfect sunset, it all just came together beautifully. These two are New Yorkers who are coming all the way back to Anna's hometown of Cleveland to get married next year. It's sure to be a fun one ... I can't wait!
Ask me to do a session at my alma mater? I'll be there in a heartbeat. :) I love visiting Miami's campus anyways, but to get to do a Miami Merger engagement session there is just icing on the cake.
Kelsey and Matt met in college ... in that building down below, Upham Hall (which is very poignant for all us Miami people). As the story goes, they were friends for a long time until two weeks before graduation. Which means they didn't have a lot of time together before the real world swallowed them up, and Matt headed to Cincinnati to start his first job while Kelsey headed back to Cleveland. They did long distance for three years until Kelsey recently joined Matt down south. ;)
Kelsey and Matt, your relationship is so fun. I loved capturing the genuine laughter and moments between you two. Can't wait for your winter wonderland wedding!
P.S. I think this is the first session blog post ever where I don't share at least one black and white photo! I just loved the color too much!
This one's a fav. :)
These ones make me laugh. I told Matt to whisper something ridiculous in Kelsey's ear. I have no idea what he said but it worked like a charm!
You two are adorable. Really.
