Seriously, how was the weather SO PERFECT for every one of my August weddings?! It was 75 and sunny for each of them, and I ate it up. Hopefully it's a good omen for September. :)
Now, let's talk about the world's sweetest couple. I knew as soon as I met with Allie and Sean that they were great people. Spending their wedding day with them just sealed the deal. I'm so glad I've still got an album to design for these two so I can keep them in my life a little longer. :) Enjoy their (colorful) sneak peek! More than nine years later, Nichole and Dan returned to the spot where it all began. They became Miami Mergers just a stone's throw away from the dorm where they met as freshman. At the time, they were new to Oxford, new to the big campus and new to each other. Neither had any idea that less than 10 years later, they would be married.
"Dan was the first boy I met on campus on freshman move-in day," Nichole said. "I lived in the room above Dan and needed some ideas on how to make all the furniture fit."
Dan was dating someone else at the time but as the two got to know each other, he realized how great Nichole was. Her caring nature tops his list of favorite things about his new wife.
"Our first summer of dating, she did a study abroad program in Russia," he said. "I found myself missing her so much during that time that I had to call just to hear her voice. Even though I racked up a $700 phone bill it was worth it."
Nichole and Dan are so loved and respected by their family and friends, and it was fun to see how much fun everyone had celebrating these two. Thank you so much for asking Nathan and I to be a part of your day, guys. It was such a meaningful wedding for both of us, and we wish you all the happiness in the world!

Once in awhile, I don't get to meet my couples in person until their wedding day. That was the case with Nicole and Chris, but it really didn't matter because they were so friendly and welcoming and ready for anything. What a blessing it is to work with mature, kind couples who are 100% ready to get married. It was so heartwarming to see these two so wrapped up in each other. You'll see that soon enough in their pictures, but for now, a little sneak peek ...
It's the classic cheerleader meets football player story. Hailee and Stefan are high school sweethearts, and they credit a powderpuff football game for really bringing them together.
"Stefan was very respectful," Hailee said. "I always knew he truly valued my beliefs and me as a person. He has always treated me the way every lady deserves to be treated."
It's true that Stefan is a gentleman 100 percent, and when asked what he loves most about Hailee? Well, his answer was too sweet to leave out. :)
"She is the most loving human being in the world and she cares for everyone no matter what their background," he said. "If we go somewhere in public and she sees someone eating by themselves, she get legitimately conceded for their happiness. Even though I hate to see her sad, I love to see her react to those situations because her heart is so big."
It's completely obvious how loved these two are themselves. I've never seen a closer knit group of friends or family at a wedding before, and having followed Hailee on Instagram for awhile now, I know how much her students love her, as well (she's going to be a teacher, y'all!). You guys, it was a pleasure for me to document your day! I'm so excited for all that lays ahead for you, and you know I'll be keeping up with you two. :)
