Amy & Tim | Signature of Solon Wedding

Amy and Tim are such a joy to work with. They're ALWAYS happy, always trusting, always up for anything and always treating you like a friend. This couple is icing on the cake!

Some of my favorite moments from their big day:

• The big group of smiling bridesmaids that greeted us when we arrived. Let's just say that Amy and Tim have a lot of friends!
• Tim's nervous excitement while he was getting ready … and his awesome gift from Amy: a big, hardcover Calvin and Hobbes book. I kinda wanted to borrow it from him. :)
• Tim stealing glances at Amy throughout the ceremony.
• The hilarious groomsmen who liked to give us photographers a hard time. Ha!
• The gorgeous sunny (and hot!) spring day they got, despite it being forecasted to rain.
• The wedding party serenading Amy and Tim during their first dance.
• Amy's dad's hilarious and heartfelt toast.
• The amazingly delicious chocolate salted caramel wedding cake from Hummingbird Bake Shop. Yum.

Allie & John | Blair Center Wedding

Sometimes I just can't make a blog post any shorter. I totally tried, but Allie and John's wedding had so many great moments, and I couldn't leave out any of them! The thing I love most about weddings is that each day tells an entirely unique story. That's incredibly exciting for a photographer … especially one who loves to capture the day from start to finish!

This wedding was full of so much love. Between Allie and John of course, but also between the two of them and their families and friends. Both Allie and John wanted this day to be about their relationships with the people they adore most, and I think everyone left that night feeling so loved.

Some of my favorite moments from this sweet couple's day:

• Allie's incredible kindness from the moment we walked in the door. She immediately gave me a hug and put Samantha and me at ease.
• Allie's bridesmaids' excitement when she stepped out of the hair and makeup chair. She was gorgeous. I think there was some clapping involved.
• The hilarious contrast of walking out of the girls' suite to find the guys playing games in the bar and wearing their sunglasses inside. The difference between how girls and guys get ready never fails to make me laugh.
• The first look. And watching John's nervous excitement seconds before he saw Allie in her wedding dress.
• The nice golfer that insisted John take a swing on his wedding day. And the polite golf clap from his groomsmen when he nailed the shot. (Note: The groomsmen were hilarious.)
• Allie's sister marrying them.
• The ice cream truck that showed up halfway through the reception. That thing was a crowd pleaser for sure!
• The selfie stick that never left the dance floor.
• And while we're at it … the JAM-PACKED dance floor the entire night. I've never seen so many good moves in one place. Of course I'm partial to the groomsman doing a straddle jump (or toe touch for all you cheerleaders out there), but everyone was killing it on that dance floor. :D

Halle & Paul | Greystone Hall Akron Wedding

There's this peace about Halle and Paul when they're together, and it's so sweet to witness. Separate, Halle and Paul are two of the kindest and most thoughtful people I've ever met, and together they're just plain awesome.

I adore the way Paul proposed to Halle: In Halle's favorite bakery with her very own cake and flowers and music. Come on! That is the coolest proposal ever, right?? These two go the extra mile for each other and it shows in everything they do.

Some of my favorite moments from their big day:

• Watching Halle's best friends put her veil on and complete her bridal attire.
• Paul's steady excitement and anticipation up until the ceremony. He was so ready to get married!
• Halle's sense of humor and knock knock jokes throughout the day.
• Documenting Paul's face when he saw Halle for the first time.
• The unexpected sun and beautiful weather that made portrait time so fun.
• Paul's brother's hilarious toast about the two of them growing up together.
• Halle jumping into Paul's arms while "Africa" was playing at the reception. :)

Sherry & Alex | Cleveland Botanical Garden Wedding

Sherry and Alex were the BEST couple to help me kick off my 2015 wedding season. These two are so incredibly sweet with each other and everyone around them. All day they made sure that my second shooter Samantha and I were well taken care of. One of my favorite memories from their day? When we showed up to the reception and saw that they had set aside a table for us labeled "Beauty Capturers." I think I laughed out loud, but I had been laughing the whole day so it was just another happy moment.

Sherry is hilarious … in a really unexpected way. One minute she was talking with her bridesmaids, the next she had them cracking up at the punchline of one her infamous jokes (telling jokes is a habit she picked up in med school). Alex didn't stop smiling at her the entire day. He has the kindest disposition I've ever witnessed, and the two of them together are unstoppable.

• Sherry reading The Little Prince while she was waiting to go to the first look.
• The flowering trees that started blooming just in time for Sherry and Alex's sunny wedding day!
• The hilarious groomsmen group hug.
• Listening to the ceremony (and reception!) translated into Chinese for out-of-country guests.
• Sherry and Alex's Chinese tea ceremony.
• Alex's violin performance.
