Colleen & Joe | Engagement

These two laugh a lot. And I love it. As a photographer, I know it can be awkward to have your picture taken, but Colleen and Joe literally forgot the camera was there and were just absorbed with each other. These two are just really good people. They care about philanthropy and helping others and they are just happy human beings. Perfect clients, I say! :)

Colleen and Joe will tie the knot in December in downtown Cleveland. I'm super excited to work with them again (so soon!) and experience a winter Cleveland wedding. It's going to be a beautiful day!

Katie & Tim | Engagement

Katie and Tim go way back. Like first grade way back. How awesome is that?! I'm so impressed by these soon-to-be Miami Mergers (yay Miami!). They've known each other almost their whole life but their relationship is so fresh and fun. And these two are genuine and nice to boot.

Taja & Husain | Engagement

One word comes to mind when I think of Taja and Husain: FUN. These two weren't afraid to have fun in front of my camera, which I of course loved. Plus, Husain so obviously adores Taja. It was so great to watch their mutual respect for each other, even if only for a couple hours! Taja and Husain, thank you for being so genuine. It was a pleasure getting to know you. :)

East 4th is so photogenic, as are Taja and Husain. :)

Husain cracks me up. I was taking that photo on the left of him, and he was putting all the attention back on Taja!

You two are seriously snazzy dressers. Can I take lessons from you?

Jamie & Tom | Engagement

Jamie and Tom came to me via my sweet friend Maggie, who, long story short, had a free session. After moving across the country —TWICE! —with her new husband, she knew she wouldn't be able to use the session anytime soon, so she passed it along to her newly engaged cousin ... Jamie! Got that? :)

These are the people in my life—really generous and so, so nice. And Jamie and Tom are extensions of that. They were up for anything. Running? Check. Wading in the water? Check. Being picked up? Check. You know I love when clients do the slightly crazy things I ask of them with no hesitation. It makes for fun photos, and these? These are some of my favorites ever.
