Excuse me while I share almost all of Carrie and Brian's engagement photos with you. I can't choose just a few favorites. I love that this set tells a story. I love all the movement, even the wind-whipped hair. I especially love that Carrie and Brian warned me multiple times how awkward they were in front of the camera. So silly. This is one of my favorite engagement sessions ever. (Please tell them how NOT awkward they are in the comment section below.)
Sarah & Anthony | Huntington Beach Engagement
It was a BEAUTIFUL night to spend on the beach. Cleveland really does have some of the most gorgeous scenery, and that includes Lake Erie. I was so glad Sarah and Anthony picked Huntington Beach for their session because it's one of my favorite places to shoot!
These two knew right away that they were going to be together forever. After a chance meeting at a car dealership ... here they are, ready to get married! I just love stories like theirs. One moment could have changed everything, but obviously Sarah and Anthony are meant to be.
You two are ridiculously good looking.
Love these shots ...
Such a perfect hazy Cleveland sunset.
Anna & Clede | Mentor Headlands Beach Engagement
This is one of my all-time favorite engagement sessions! Not kidding. Between Anna and Clede's energy, the beach, the light, and the perfect sunset, it all just came together beautifully. These two are New Yorkers who are coming all the way back to Anna's hometown of Cleveland to get married next year. It's sure to be a fun one ... I can't wait!
These two could be in a sunglasses ad. ;)
Love this one.
Melissa & Mike | Engagement
It was an absolutely perfect day all around when I met Melissa and Mike in Bay Village. These two are the most laid back, go-with-the-flow couple and were up for anything I asked them to do (read: getting wet; see below). I'm pretty sure this says it all: Mike gave up a basketball game to do these photos. If that's not love I don't know what is. Haha. :) Look for Melissa and Mike on the blog again next month. They'll be tying the knot at the end of September!
Oh you two. This is so you guys. :)
Melissa said she wanted a "barefoot and organic" kind of engagement session. That's what I think when I look at that photo above.
You guys are such good sports. The things I ask people to do!
My absolute favorite! The light was amazing!
Then it was over to Huntington Beach for a few more photos ...
