Crystal & Mark | Cleveland Federated Family Life Center Wedding

There's a little bit of 2013 left over here! I've been posting Facebook albums like crazy, and now I have ONE last wedding to share with you all: Crystal and Mark! Crystal is a witty Cleveland blogger, and I wanted to give her space to do her own posts before I did my own.

Looking at these photos makes me feel SO warm in the midst of this freezing cold weather. Crystal and Mark had the most perfect day for their outdoor Botanical Garden wedding ceremony. It was blue skies all the way and a breezy 78 or so degrees. Sounds good right about now. :)

Weather aside, my favorite thing about Crystal and Mark's day was the way they looked at each other. I know that sounds cliché, but it's so easy to get swept along with the craziness of your wedding. I should know! And it's for that reason that I love observing couples on their big day. I love the stolen glances and the private moments that happen in the middle of the crowd. I admire the respect and adoration Crystal and Mark have for each other, and I know it's only strengthened since September.

Stephanie & Matt | Cleveland Botanical Garden Wedding

Six years ago, Stephanie and Matt were at a wedding. They were at the same wedding but they didn't know each other. And they wouldn't know each other until a few weeks later when mutual friends realized that the pair had each noticed each other during dinner. Phone numbers were exchanged, love formed and now Stephanie and Matt, themselves, are married. Isn't it crazy how life unfolds and things come full circle?

"I immediately felt as though I could be myself around him," Stephanie said. "He can always make me smile. Even when I've had the worst day or I'm mad at him, which makes it really hard to stay that way."

When Matt decided he wanted to marry Stephanie, he wasted absolutely no time.

"I bought the ring and proposed the same day," he said. "I just couldn't wait. I was down on one knee when she walked through the door after work."

Six years ago, Stephanie and Matt were at a wedding. And six years later (to the month!), they were at their own.

Stephanie and Matt, THANK YOU for asking me to be part of your day. I have so enjoyed getting to know you guys and helping to document your story (and creating a model out of Matt ;) ). Savor this time, newlyweds! :)

The morning of their wedding, the weather was really spotty, so the ceremony was moved inside the Botanical Garden. I love all the natural light!

Stephanie and Matt had a beautiful June wedding filled with lots of pink. :) Stephanie is definitely a girly-girl, and I loved shooting all her well-thought-out details. After their ceremony was moved inside because of off-and-on rain showers, they had the most perfect night for an outdoor reception.
