Baby Rosalie | Newborn

Are you ready to meet the most graceful new parents ever? You've actually already met them if you've followed my blog for awhile. Katie and Mason are some of my very favorites, and I was lucky enough to photograph their engagement and wedding … and now their first baby! What an honor! Rosalie is the luckiest little girl to have parents like these two.

My favorite things about this session included:

• Rosalie's huge, watchful eyes. I love when newborns are awake for part of the session.
• Watching Katie and Mason take this parenting thing in stride and support each other when Rosalie needed something.
• The quiet, cloudy morning that set the tone for this sweet newborn session.
• The gorgeous leaded windows we got shoot in front of. Katie and Mason's apartment is to die for!

Baby Billy | Newborn

About 10 minutes into this session, I had already made a best friend out of Baby Billy's big sister, Brynn, and I was smitten with little Billy (William Francis to be exact). He was the chillest little guy and stayed awake, staring at the camera, the entire session! He was such a good sport … being coddled by Brynn, being swaddled and un-swaddled. It would be exhausting for anyone, let alone an 8-day-old baby.

My very favorite thing about photographing little Billy was watching his big sister coo and fuss over him. She's a natural at the whole big sister thing! Take a look ...
