Caitlin and Brandon adore each other, and I can't tell you how fun it was to capture their wedding day. From being so warmly welcomed by Caitlin's family at the beginning of the day to capturing their friends' awesome dance moves at the end, this was such a great way to end my 2015 season. So much love!

Erica & Chris | Edgewater Park Engagement

Erica and Chris are two of those people who are always thinking about others. They have a gift for making people feel special, and I should know. Erica baked me a treat for taking their engagement photos. For real?! I feel so lucky to have the world's friendliest couple on my wedding calendar for 2016!

Megan & Steve | Cleveland Ohio Film Wedding

There was a chance of rain all day, but right before portrait time the sun broke through the clouds and it started snowing. Big, white fluffy bits of dogwood pollen, or at least that's what it looked like. Whatever it was, it made the photos magical and completed Megan and Steve's sweet day.

These two love so well. They love each other and they love their friends and family something fierce. Megan always makes sure everyone is cared for and thought about. She's especially good at picking out the perfect gift for you. Steve is quick to smile and make Megan laugh. He's patient and a great friend. It was such a joy to work with these two!

Some of my favorite moments from their big day:

How easily the guys laughed around each other. I hardly had to try with the jokes. ;)
Megan and Steve's canvas painting at the end of their ceremony. I've never seen anything like it! I was equally impressed that the paint didn't get on their fancy attire. :)

Annie & Joe | Hudson Ohio Fall Wedding

In his toast to his new bride and family and friends, Joe said, "Annie's magnetic." And that right there is the kindest and most perceptive thing I've ever heard a groom say to his bride. Joe and Annie have this quiet understanding of each other that seems to go beyond everything else. It was fascinating to observe them from behind my lens. Annie is magnetic. Yes. But Joe perfectly complements her magnetism in a way that just makes sense. They fit together and are two of the happiest and most content people I've ever met. They're those people that you just really want to be friends with … and they genuinely want to be friends with you too.

"Annie has an air about her that puts people at ease," Joe said, "and she immediately lights up every single room that she walks into. Everyone, myself included, can feel the sheer amount of positivity and kindness that radiates from her. She's full of love, and doesn't ever hesitate to share that love with the world around her."

And Annie thinks just as highly of her husband.

"Joe is so calm and kind," she said. "He holds himself to the highest standards in any situation and treats every person as if they're family. He is truly my better half."

Annie and Joe, I so admire your authenticity, constant smiles, and unwavering love for each other and everyone around you. You guys are the real deal, and I wish you so many wonderful adventures together.
