He waited ... and waited. Kevin knew he wanted to make a good "first" impression with Elizabeth, or Biz as her friends call her, after they met through mutual friends, but she was dating someone else. So, he waited. Months later, as fate would have it, Kevin sprained his ankle and ended up in Biz's physical therapy clinic. His impression of his first impression wasn't so smooth, but it worked. Biz gave him her card and the rest is history.
"My favorite thing about Kevin is his gentle patience," she said. "He has the ability to keep me calm and hold me accountable at the same time."
And Kevin's favorite thing about Biz? "The fact that she doesn't want a second-rate marriage and will do whatever it takes to achieve first rate. Also, her loving attitude is great too!"
You two are seriously awesome. I only had to spend 10 minutes with you to see how perfect you are for each other and how much you care about your family and friends. Your wedding was full of love, and it was truly beautiful to witness. I wish you lived closer because I kind of like you guys. :) Best wishes for your first-rate marriage!
We started the day at Biz's mom's house, where the ceremony was held in the backyard.
The details were awesome! I was in heaven. :)
Kevin and Biz did a "first look" behind a door. It was really sweet.
Their backyard wedding was so personal and a perfect representation of them.
You need to check out Jennie Willoughby! The ceremony music was so beautiful.
After the ceremony we headed to the Metroparks in Bay Village for portraits.
The centerpieces! So great! Molly Taylor Designs did an awesome job on all the florals.
I love that they gave money to their charity in honor of their guests.
Fun fact about the groom: He's a dance-off champion. :) Obviously there was a lot of dancing at the reception.
