Erin & Colin | Engagement

They drove through town in his shiny, orange, vintage car with the sun streaming in the windows. She was sitting in the middle to be closer to him and as they stopped at a red light, she looked up at him and smiled. Even when Erin and Colin weren't "on" for the camera, they were just as cute with each other. There is no pretending ... they are 100% ready to be together forever.

We had a perfect fall day for Erin and Colin's engagement session. PERFECT. We strolled around the apple orchard at Mapleside Farms and then spent some time with Colin's pride and joy ... his historic car. I absolutely love these photos. I hope you do too!

Erin made a joke before the session that she and Colin would try to dress fashionably ... "you know, because we're engineers and all." I can tell you one thing: those boots she's wearing are more fashionable than I'll ever be. ;)

Katie & Tim | Engagement

Katie and Tim go way back. Like first grade way back. How awesome is that?! I'm so impressed by these soon-to-be Miami Mergers (yay Miami!). They've known each other almost their whole life but their relationship is so fresh and fun. And these two are genuine and nice to boot.

Staci & Ben | Engagement

Staci and Ben have this awesome mutual respect for each other. They're both fun and ready to laugh at the drop of a hat. Needless to say, their engagement session was so easy because they smiled at each other the whole time!

One of my favorite things about being a photographer is taking pictures of people in their space. Doing a session in a park is fantastic, but you can just tell so much about a person's story when you photograph them doing something they love. Staci and her dad have been coming to the West Side Market since she was a little girl, and both she and Ben like to cook, so photographing them in their element—at the West Side Market—was a no-brainer.

Since we started out super early to avoid the crowds that build up at the market, we took advantage of the golden morning light ...

Love this one.

Stephanie & Matt | Engagement

Stephanie and Matt have a quiet and strong relationship. It was fun to watch the two of them interact ... she pulled him out of his shell and he had this steady respect from her. Hanging out with clients is one of my favorite parts of my job, and I'm so glad we had a gorgeous day and beautiful, rustic location for Stephanie and Matt's engagement photos. Seriously, Cuyahoga Valley National Park gets me every time. :) Enjoy my favorites, and don't forget to watch the slideshow below!
