Deanna and Scott are expecting their first little one later this month. I'm so excited to meet the little guy, but I know Deanna and Scott are even more excited. :) These two have a fantastic relationship, and already I know they're going to be such great parents.

It was freezing, absolutely freezing, when Jillian and Nick and I met for their maternity session. The way this winter's gone it's not really surprising, but I was still a little bummed we wouldn't be galavanting around the Lake Forest Country Club property. You know what though? Shooting half the session indoors really pushed me to use window light in new ways. I love the quiet photos of Jillian in front of the huge leaded glass window and the intimate ones of the two of them just inside the rim of light. Jillian and Nick are going to be fabulous parents, and even though they're dressed for a boy here they're being surprised in just another month or so! I can't wait to hear if they'll be loving on a little boy or girl. :)
Fun fact: We learned at the beginning of the session that Nick is in Rotary with my dad. How random and funny is that??

Amanda and Tyler are expecting their third girl. When I asked Tyler about it, he just laughed. He's outnumbered, but he's such a good dad and I don't think he minds TOO much. :) Amanda is due any day now (she was afraid she'd go into labor during our session!), and they're both so excited to meet their newest addition to the family. Enjoy these wintery baby bump photos!

Jeanna and Brian are going to be parents so soon, and I'm honored to document this important time in their lives! I met these two gorgeous people downtown on a snowy December afternoon. It was a perfect backdrop for a sweet maternity session. I, personally, love shooting in the snow. The light reflects so beautifully, and it's just such a soft, serene look … perfect for a soon-to-be mom and dad!
We started inside (because, you know, it was a little cold outside) at the Cleveland Public Library ...
Jeanna and Brian have two wiener dogs and are educating baby on the breed. :)
