I'm really excited to end my week on a high note! This wedding is one of my favorites (hence the reason it's a mile long!), and that's partly because Katie and Tim have the sweetest story.
During their ceremony, the priest started his homily by sharing that these two were baptized as babies at St. Raphael's not too long after one another. Pretty amazing, huh? Katie says that she and Tim met in elementary school, but I really love the fact that their story can be traced back to baptism in the church. How incredibly poignant that these two got married in that same church years later.
As if I couldn't like these two enough already, they're also both Miami grads ... making them Miami Mergers now! :) ... and you know how I feel about Miami. :)
Katie and Tim are truly the kindest, patient and most considerate people you will ever meet. I feel so lucky that I got to meet them and work with them. Thank you guys for having me along on your big day. It was an honor to document each piece! Sending lots of hugs your way as you start your new life together!

Believe it or not, this was my first time doing wedding portraits at Voinovich Park (it's SO popular). The light was beautiful, and the girls look lovely here ...
Katie has the best model face. She doesn't believe me, but now it's proven. :)
OK, let's just pause here a moment and talk about how beautiful the Hyatt Regency Arcade is. Oh myyyyy. I could shoot here every weekend. The natural light streaming through the skylights is so perfectly diffused, and the twinkle lights! So easy to photograph.
