Erin & Colin | Engagement

They drove through town in his shiny, orange, vintage car with the sun streaming in the windows. She was sitting in the middle to be closer to him and as they stopped at a red light, she looked up at him and smiled. Even when Erin and Colin weren't "on" for the camera, they were just as cute with each other. There is no pretending ... they are 100% ready to be together forever.

We had a perfect fall day for Erin and Colin's engagement session. PERFECT. We strolled around the apple orchard at Mapleside Farms and then spent some time with Colin's pride and joy ... his historic car. I absolutely love these photos. I hope you do too!

Erin made a joke before the session that she and Colin would try to dress fashionably ... "you know, because we're engineers and all." I can tell you one thing: those boots she's wearing are more fashionable than I'll ever be. ;)

That one above left is so not something I would usually do but I love the way it turned out!

Katie & Tim | Engagement

Katie and Tim go way back. Like first grade way back. How awesome is that?! I'm so impressed by these soon-to-be Miami Mergers (yay Miami!). They've known each other almost their whole life but their relationship is so fresh and fun. And these two are genuine and nice to boot.

Taja & Husain | Engagement

One word comes to mind when I think of Taja and Husain: FUN. These two weren't afraid to have fun in front of my camera, which I of course loved. Plus, Husain so obviously adores Taja. It was so great to watch their mutual respect for each other, even if only for a couple hours! Taja and Husain, thank you for being so genuine. It was a pleasure getting to know you. :)

East 4th is so photogenic, as are Taja and Husain. :)

Husain cracks me up. I was taking that photo on the left of him, and he was putting all the attention back on Taja!

Melissa & Mike | Engagement

It was an absolutely perfect day all around when I met Melissa and Mike in Bay Village. These two are the most laid back, go-with-the-flow couple and were up for anything I asked them to do (read: getting wet; see below). I'm pretty sure this says it all: Mike gave up a basketball game to do these photos. If that's not love I don't know what is. Haha. :) Look for Melissa and Mike on the blog again next month. They'll be tying the knot at the end of September!
