Taja & Husain | Cleveland Wedding

They say that opposites attract, and in Taja and Husain's case it's so true. Husain is a jokester, he's a ham in front of the camera and he's not shy. Taja is sweet and more reserved and very, very organized. Together, they bring out the best in each other, and it's no wonder their family and friends were cheering them on all day. These two have so many people that love them, including their adorable daughter, Maleah, and it was so fun to see them all in one place surrounding Taja and Husain on their big day. And let me tell you what ... these people know how to have a good time. Nathan and I were smiling all day. :)

Taja and Husain, thank you for allowing me the opportunity to document your wedding day. I hope I get to see your little family again soon! 

I started the day with the girls who got all prettied up ...

... while Nathan hung out with the guys who enjoyed pizza and champagne.

These guys loved pictures, which was amazing for us!

Taja's walk down the aisle was so sweet. While she got ready that morning she talked about how ready she was to marry Husain and I think it all became real while walking arm in arm with her dad.

That one up there on the left is a favorite. :)

Taja's friends made the cake balls, and they were SO DELISH.

So much entertainment at the reception! :)

And so much dancing! This little guy videotaped the whole (and I mean whole) day until the dancing started. Then he was tearing it up on the dance floor the rest of the night. :D

Jessica & Collin | Portage Country Club Wedding Sneak Peek

I was so excited to see blue skies this last Saturday. Jessica and Collin tied the knot on the patio of Portage Country Club, and the day could not have been more beautiful. I was particularly smitten with the rustic, garden details. :) While these two are off honeymooning, enjoy a sneak peek from their big day!

Staci & Ben | Chippewa Lake Wedding

Staci and Ben met over coffee, except they weren't sitting at the same table. Staci worked behind the counter and Ben frequented the local shop. At first he wasn't too excited that one of his friends was leaving and would be replaced by a new barista, but soon Ben was bringing Staci books he wanted to share and Staci was learning exactly how he took his coffee.

"Staci supports me in pursuing my passions and makes me want to be a better person every day," Ben said.

Just from getting to know these two over a short period of time, I know they have lots of passions. I love the way these two live their lives. From their obvious affection for each other and their beloved dogs to choosing to take a road trip honeymoon instead of the typical beach vacation, they keep life interesting. I like that, and it inspires me to live my life with open arms too.

Staci and Ben, you two deserve all the best. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your day!

While I stayed with the girls, my friend Brittany hung out with the guys ... and these furry guys. :)

Staci has a really close relationship with her family and did a first look with her dad and brother. So sweet!

The day started out sunny and clear, but as we neared ceremony time, the clouds darkened ...

And then the rain came five minutes before the outdoor ceremony was to start! It's good luck, right? :) Luckily, it cleared up not long after it started.

We got to squeeze in a couple more portraits at dusk. It was totally worth it!

Taja & Husain | Elegant Cleveland Wedding Sneak Peek

People ask me all the time if I get tired of going to weddings. I always say no. And that's for real. Weddings are such happy events; who wouldn't want to work in an environment filled with happy people? Plus, my weddings are all so different, which keeps things interesting. Taja and Husain were my second wedding of last weekend, and their wedding could not have been more different than Staci and Ben's, which was non-traditional, outdoorsy and rustic. Taja and Husain planned a traditional, elegant affair near the city. I cannot say enough good things about these two and their friends and family. The whole wedding was so alive. There's no other way to describe it. I loved observing everything and can't wait to share the rest with you!
