Ohhhh, get ready for an AWESOME engagement session! Mary and Jim are so cute together, and coupled with amazing light? That makes it a favorite. :) I can hardly wait for their wedding next year. It's sure to be amazing!
Seriously! So good!
If I could bottle this light up and use it for every session, I totally would.
Meet Rhiana and Joe. They're both Kent State alums but had to go all the way to Dayton, Ohio, to meet each other. And get this: They were in school at the same time and even lived in the same building. How crazy is that?! I'm so amazed by my couples' stories. I think it's fascinating to learn how they came together, sometimes against all odds.
Joe is in the military and will be starting his first assignment soon. Not long after, they'll be getting married. I can't wait to document Rhiana and Joe's big day. What an honor!
We could not, for the life of us, figure out the pictures on this wall. It's cool though, right??
You two are ridiculously good looking!
Their first date spot! (AFTER they got back from Dayton. :) )
The light. Was to die for. What a beautiful evening!
After a handful of bad dates, both Jessica and Dennis were frustrated with their prospects and vented to their (mutual) friend. It's like a movie script, right? You know what happened next. Their friend had an "aha" moment, introduced them to each other and the rest is history. It's their very own chick flick.
Jessica and Dennis are such great people. She's the first one to make you laugh and he's the first one to offer you a thoughtful, supportive word (which is one of Jessica's favorite things about him). They just go together. Period.
"Because of her, I learned I am capable of so much more, professionally, emotionally, and knowing she will always be there for support when I need her keeps me always trying to succeed, for us," Dennis said. "She makes me strive to be the man she deserves, and I will do my best to she that's what she gets."
There was so much emotion at Jessica and Dennis' wedding. Every part of the day, no matter how monumental or minuscule, it was all taken in and processed and felt. As a photographer, these are the moments I strive to capture. It was like gold. :)
You two, thank you a million times over for asking me to be your wedding photographer. What an honor it was to capture your day from behind my lens. Let's keep in touch, OK??
It rained. And rained and rained. But they still got their outdoor ceremony and portraits! :)
What a couple of awesome people. Sara and Jimmy came to me through Jaclyn and Nick, so of course I knew I would like them before I even met them. And I was right to know in advance. These two laughed the whole session, which was fantastic for me. Their giddiness about their newly engaged status was contagious. Just take a look ...
