My favorite thing about baby Cecilia is her hair. I mean, c'mon. Look at all that baby hair! Luscious locks aside, this little lady has an adorable grin, a happy demeanor and the nicest parents she could ask for. I even went to high school with her mom! How fun. :)
You might want to grab a warm beverage and cozy up for this post. Cecilia's sure to captivate you (and her tiny jacket looks so cozy and warm, doesn't it??).
What a cutie!
This little boy could not be more loved. Kannan's family followed him around Huntington Beach for an hour, pausing to pick him up and swing him around, showing him the sand and water, kissing his (adorable) cheeks. And I got to follow them around and document all of it. This is why I love family sessions; my style is very photojournalistic and my goal is always to show what it's really like to be a kid. It's always nice to have a posed family photo, but it's also nice to remember what being 1 year old is like. So here's Kannan at 1. (And have you seen his hair??)
This session with the D family makes me dream of summer (yeah, yeah, I know it's fall now, but I love summer). It was SO warm when we trekked to Headlands Beach for some family photos. This clan just welcomed little Rima into the world a few months ago, and I was so honored to take some photos of the new foursome. Isn't the D family sweet? :)
Grandma was visiting all the way from Lithuania! The grandkids adore her. :)

This family is so great. You might remember they did a session last fall right before Ben was to deploy for a year. He's been in Afghanistan for seven months and in that time Vincent was born. What a whirlwind for this family, right?? Thankfully, Ben got to come home for a couple weeks this summer and meet his son and spend some quality time with his cute family (seriously, these kids are adorable). Here's a little bit of that reunion documented ...
