Sarah & Steve | Vintage Medina Ohio Wedding
Sarah and Steve were friends in high school, although Sarah might not throw around the term "friend." All of sophomore year they rode the bus to and from school together, and Steve would flirt with Sarah. She complained to her family about the "annoying kid on the bus," but it must not have been TOO bad.
"I saw Sarah the first day [of riding the bus] and ever since have been hooked!" Steve said. "I flirted with her every day I saw her and made sure to get under her skin. Eventually she came around and started to see my cuteness."
A few years later, once college had started, they reconnected and started spending every free minute together. After five years of dating, Steve proposed ... on Valentine's Day nonetheless.
"Steve brings out the best in me," Sarah said. "He makes me laugh, and I can be completely comfortable around him. He is so supportive and, above all, patient. I couldn't imagine living without Steve."
Sarah and Steve, thank you for being an example of what marriage should like. You two are unbelievable sweet, and I wish you nothing but the best as you start this new journey. :)
Both Sarah and Steve have the coolest families. Here, Sarah's dad is showing off his tux. Love it! :)
You are gorgeous, lady!
I love fall weddings.

Rachel & Ryan | Whitesburg Nature Preserve Engagement
I love fall engagement sessions. The colorful trees add so much dimension to the photos, and it's so nice to shoot on those hazy days. Rachel's only request for a location was that it must have lots of trees. Whitesburg Nature Preserve in Chagrin Falls is my new favorite place to shoot in the fall. It's literally covered with colorful trees for more than a month. So gorgeous!
I went to high school with Rachel AND we both attended Miami. It was so fun to catch up with her, especially as our 10-year high school reunion approaches. (Um, crazy!) She and Ryan (who is a Phi Tau ... come on! I love this couple!) are completely adorable together. They kept each other laughing the whole time. They have so much fun together, and that makes me super excited to photograph their June wedding next year!
Love that one up there on the left. :)
Favorite!
Baby Lane | 18 Months
I'm not so sure Lane is a baby anymore, but I've called him "Baby Lane" for so long it just seems natural. :) Let me just say that I am so grateful to this little family. They were the very first ones to book me for newborn photos, and during newborn baby Lane's session I learned that I love doing lifestyle newborn sessions! These three, sadly, just moved away from Northeast Ohio. They came back for this fall session, and I was super happy to see them again. Enjoy my favorites of this handsome guy ...
