Mary and Steven were the most joyful parents-to-be (past tense because their son has arrived!). As a newly pregnant lady myself, it was inspiring to watch.
They started dating while Mary was in college at John Carroll, so this setting was the perfect spot for them. JCU is in my backyard and I had NEVER done a shoot there. The gorgeous evening we got coupled with the stunning architecture around campus made me want to come back again and again. Any takers? :)
If this family looks familiar it's because they've been on the blog just a few times (here, here, here and here!). Gosh, I LOVE getting to know my clients. These three just became four when they welcomed sweet little Vivi into the world a couple weeks ago. We fit this maternity session in just before her arrival (how amazing does Jeanna look?!) and made sure to hop inside the art museum for some photos because it was rather chilly. In case you can't tell with all that snow. Jeanna, Brian and Wyatt had their game faces on!
Ashley and Justin will meet their first baby in just a couple weeks. This session was filled with sweet anticipation and excitement, and I especially loved it because I got to photograph Ashley and Justin's wedding a few years ago. It is an unbelievable honor to document the most down-to-earth people experiencing milestones, and if I know anything about these two, I know their baby girl will be infinitely loved.

You know what I love more than film itself? Maternity photos on film. Especially when the couple is as gorgeous as Amanda and Derek. We hung out one dreamy fall morning exploring the nooks and crannies of Squire's Castle. These two have since welcomed their baby boy into the world, and I'm so, so happy for the lovely family!
