What a couple of awesome people. Sara and Jimmy came to me through Jaclyn and Nick, so of course I knew I would like them before I even met them. And I was right to know in advance. These two laughed the whole session, which was fantastic for me. Their giddiness about their newly engaged status was contagious. Just take a look ...
Katelyn & Ryan | North Canton Engagement
I met Katelyn and Ryan at their BRAND-new house on a beautifully sunny spring morning. These two have so much ahead of them, including fixing up their darling house and tying the knot in January! I absolutely love hearing about this time in a couple's life because, having recently gone through it myself, I know about all the excitement that is on the horizon.
Katelyn and Ryan, the best to you both as you prepare for your life together. I'm so grateful I got to capture a little piece of it. :)
The light!
Seriously. Seriously?! My absolute favorite!
Gorgeous, Katelyn. I love your hair! :)

Jessica & Dennis | Engagement
They frequented the same places, knew the same people ... it's kind of amazing they didn't meet until one of their mutual friends mentioned that they might be good together. Although "good together" is an understatement. These two are flippin' fantastic together and so cute. :) One look at them and you know they love each other so much.
I spent some time with these two right as the leaves were changing. We walked around Quail Hollow and talked about life and their upcoming wedding. Then we stopped by The Barrel Room in North Canton, which is where these two met and months later celebrated their engagement with family and friends. I'm so honored to be photographing Jessica and Dennis' wedding next October. Can't wait! :)
Beautiful, Jessica! I want your hair!
The light was to die for!
Meet Adrian. Or is it Adrienne, Dennis? ;) I love that he has a name for his car because I also only refer to my car by her name.
The cutest little guy!

Cuyahoga Valley National Park Portraits: Sharon and Rob
We sat at dinner and contemplated dessert. If I haven't mentioned it before, Nathan has a reallllly big sweet tooth ... and I'm not too far behind him! Generally, we always want dessert. And as soon as we mentioned it, Sharon and Rob were in. But instead of ordering dessert at the restaurant we were at, we ventured across the way to a different, more-delicious-dessert restaurant. Most people would think Nathan and I are crazy for our very particular and slightly snobby dessert taste, but not Sharon and Rob. They get us. And it's why they're two of our closest friends.
These two agreed to let Nathan and me shoot them for a little pre-wedding-season practice (yes, Nathan will be shooting with me at a couple wedding this year!). Sharon and I have been friends since we were 12, and Rob is a fabulous addition to the group. He makes Sharon laugh, and she makes him oh! so happy! They get each other.
My favorite! Couples who are planning nature-y engagement sessions: Take note! Cuyahoga Valley National Park has so many hidden places to shoot. I love it!
It was quite windy, but I still love the picture on the left. This is Sharon and Rob. Plain and simple.
You two are awesome! Thank you.
